One man, instigated three teenagers to rob a woman, and the three teenagers did. How could three teenagers of the age 15 and 16, commit such a crime? Teenage crime is not a rare sight anymore, and we must raise awareness about the trouble teenagers these days are getting into, and how to stop them. In society, there are bound to be crimes, but if teenagers these days are committing crimes at such a tender age, things will only get worse when they grow older. We do not want to compromise the future's of our youth because of the crimes they commit, thus I believe that we could begin by looking at the place teenagers spend their time most- school. Teenage crime may be a rare sight in RI, however things are quite different in neighbourhood schools. I am not trying to defame them but we have to understand that some students in neighbourhood schools are not as tame as us. I personally have a friend that studies in a neighbourhood school, and i hear stories of all the things they do in school, they steal cigarettes from their parents and smoke in the toilet. They go around bullying kids from other schools. This may not be as drastic as robbing a woman, but these are the roots that will lead to these crimes, I believe stricter discipline must be enforced. However discipline does not work for everybody. Thus counselling plays a role too, not only that we must raise awareness of the consequences of crime to students so that they understand the trouble they will get into if they break the law. Sadly it seems that all these methods have been implemented already but there are still teenagers committing crimes, this is a very important issue and we must be aware of it. We do not want to see any more repeats of this incident of teenage robbery. Talking about all these is cheap, and i may not be the most suitable person to comment on this, as i am not personally a teenager who commits crime or one who knows friends who do directly, i may not understand the plight they are in possibly due to family problems or financial problems which force them to commit crimes. Perhaps we could tackle these factors? I currently have no definite solution at hand, but hopefully, we will never see teenage crimes, even though it may be extremely difficult
